Coming soon to a blog near you...

Dear Reader,

Our computer went kaput for a time, so I didn't have a chance to tell you stories and show you pictures last week. I plan to catch up this week sometime, stay tuned...

In the meantime, why don't you tell me something interesting? I'd love to hear from you all.

Best,

Auriel

A friend of mine invited me to go to the annual punkin chunkin' event in Delaware. People build huge fanciful machines and compte to see who can throw a pumpkin the farthest. If he can get the time off, we'll go.

World traveler! Better than whirled traveler! I'm envious. However, we did manage a walk with Abe on the Chehalis Western Trail today! Bikes are scary donkey-eating things, unless they are not. We need to stand still for a loooooong time to think about it!

I think we absolutely need a punkin chunkin event in Olympia. If I can't travel the world, at least I can dream of making the world travel to me!

I saw a TV documentary about a dwarf couple that live on a farm in Oregon. The husband built a trebuchet, because they grow pumpkins there, and he wanted to attract more people. If I can't get to Delaware, I'd like to go to Oregon and watch them fire that thing.
