Yaaaaaaay!

Yaaay is a wonderful word, almost as good as "Ufda!"

Sometimes, you can say "Yaay" and jump up and down in the middle of the living room and the dogs yust go nuts, running around and careening off the couch.

Sometimes you can mutter a little teeny "yay" that sort of means "Oh brother."

Sometimes you have done something really good that nobody is going to notice, so you might as well give yourself a heartfelt happy "yaaaaaay!"

Sometimes life is really disappointing. Yay.

Sometimes you wish that people wouldn't use words to mean the opposite of what they said, but I didn't mean for you to hear my little sarcastic "yay" anyway.

Hmmmph!

Sometimes I am happy that it is Friday and I get to stay up late, sleep in, have a nice breakfast tomorrow morning, and take my time reading the paper!

Yaaaaay!
